Situated on the ground floor just after reception on the left, the grab and go concept aims to provide you with a variety of foods, confectionery and drinks for when you are on the move.

The main catering area located left of the atrium on the ground floor. In this area you will find:
Duets Coffee Bar
Offering all our coffee shop favourites such as our daily home made scones and cakes, teas, coffees and hot chocolate. A useful area for those afternoon meetings, to take advantage of special afternoon offers!

Duets Express Foods
Providing fresh English bacon and sausage butties.
Open: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 11.00am
Offering freshly prepared pizza, burgers and chunky chips
Open: Monday to Friday 11.00am - 2.30pm
Duets World Foods
Serving a variety of flavours and ingredients from around the world, using only 100 per cent British meats, as well as providing vegetarian options.

Duets on Two
Located on the 2nd floor, duets on two will be a second coffee bar with more of our home produced products, Fairtrade and organic foods too.
Open: Monday to Friday 9.30am - 2.00pm
Duets on Three
Situated on the 3rd floor, duets on three is part of the student and staff social area. A third coffee bar, with bean to cup coffee and Galaxy Hot Chocolate we aim to develop this service with you, our customer.

Vending is available in the atrium and in the student social area on the first floor.

Our Service
York College's catering service that constantly changes to meet your needs. We offer a wholesome, quality, value for money service with two large areas: ‘duets' and ‘sound bites‘, for you to meet friends, eat, drink and relax.

Wholesome Promise
Meals
Our own freshly prepared meals use 100 per cent pure meats (some are local, all are British) and vegetarian cheeses. Vegetarian options are also available daily.
Five a day (just eat more) fruit and veg
Fresh fruit is available on all the service counters, vegetables are available in 'sound bites' and all our own label sandwiches are made with wholesome quality breads and sunflower spread. We use 100 per cent pure meats (some are local, all are British), no preservatives, no added salt, light mayonnaise and vegetarian cheese. Healthy options and vegetarian sandwiches are also available.
Home Made Cakes
An extensive selection of ‘home baking' made with sunflower spread or butter, no added preservatives, such as the tiffin bar and crispie cakes shown opposite.
Snacks
A selection of lower fat, reduced sugar snacks and energy bars are available on the 'duets-too' counter and in our vending machines.
Drinks
Free chilled water on ‘duets' and ‘sound bites' counters.
Available from the counter and vending machines: teas, coffees, hot chocolate, fresh milk, bottled water, pure fruit drinks, sport and energy drinks.

We are conscious that some people have special diets, please ask, if we can help we will.
Nut Allergy
Although a lot of our products do not contain nuts. We do use nuts in the production of other items so there may be trace elements in all our products.

Please abide by the college charter while using the catering outlets.
Please carry your student ID, you may be asked to produce it on request.
We do not provide accommodation for you to consume food and drink NOT purchased in ‘duets coffee shop' or ‘sound bites'.
