Learning Centre Induction (for enrolled students)
With books and periodicals, DVDs, computers, and multifunction printers and photocopiers, our well-equipped Learning Centre is the ideal place in which to study and do research. Help desks are staffed by specialists who can help you to find out what you need to know and how to use the equipment. With easy access via the bridges over the atrium, our Learning Centre offers a pleasant working environment for private, group or class study.

Access before 8.45am, during holidays and in the evenings, is on floor 1 only, and then via the lift to other floors

In addition to the usual range of library facilities such as, issue and enquiry desk services, newspapers, reference materials and photocopying, the Learning Centre has 153 networked computers with internet access and a wide range of software including Windows applications, Adobe CS6, and MS Office. There are also many subject specific packages to facilitate learning. Two Apple Macintosh computers are available in the HE hub on floor 3 with programmes including

- Microsoft Office
Dedicated computers for searching the library catalogue are available on each floor. The catalogue can also be searched from anywhere, via the college website, Student Options, OPAC, using any device with internet access, e.g. mobile phone, tablet, laptop, PC.
