Year 11 Taster Days
Find Year 11 Taster Days information here.
Our Year 11 Taster Days will take place on:
- Tuesday 15th January 2019
- Thursday 17th January 2019
You must have pre-booked a place in order to attend one of these Taster Days.
Unfortunately we are no longer able to take Taster Day bookings, as the deadline (Friday 14th December) has now passed.
If you require further information about our courses, please come along to our next Open Event which is to be held on Wednesday 6th February 2019, 5.30pm – 8.00pm. For more information about our Further Education Open Evenings, visit our Open Events page.
If you have already applied for a Taster Day you will receive a letter sent to your home address containing all the information you need to know for the day. This letter can also be used as your travel pass on the York College coaches if you have specified you are using them on the Taster Day. Details of all College coach routes and pick up points can be found on the York College Travel page.
For more information about how to get to and from York College, please visit the Getting Here section further down this page.
Please note: If you are travelling from and to Barlby and York College for the Taster Day on Thursday 17th January only, please be advised that due to high passenger numbers route Green 10 will now pick up and drop off at Barlby instead of route Amber 8.
Route Green 10 will pick up at Barlby Hill Top at 8.05am and then Barlby High School at 8.08am. Route Green 10 will leave College at 4.50pm.
So still the same pick up places, but bus number is now Route 10 and slightly earlier times.
Please note that for the Taster Day on Tuesday 15th January route Amber 8 will pick up at Barlby as originally planned.
