The Yorkshire Rail Academy (YRA) is a partnership between York College and the National Railway Museum. York College delivers a wide range of courses at the YRA and has purpose-built training rooms available for hire. It also has a rail track training facility which is available for hire.

Rail Track Facility:

This purpose-built external track and signalling facility was launched in February 2008 and provides the capability to simulate real track and signalling operations for training purposes.
The track is available for hire to operators holding the appropriate and valid track safety competence certificates.

Location:

The YRA is located only a five minute walk from York Railway Station, making it an ideal city centre venue. You will find the YRA clearly signposted alongside the National Railway Museum.
