This assessment course is designed to provide an opportunity for individuals currently employed within the plumbing and gas industry to renew their certificates in domestic gas safety competence.

The following categories are offered:

• CCN1 Domestic Gas Safety;
• CEN1 Domestic Central Heating/Hot Water Boilers (<70 kW);
• HTR1 Domestic Gas Fires and Wall Heaters;
• CKR1 Domestic Natural Gas Cookers;
•WAT1 Domestic Natural Gas Instantaneous Water Heaters;
• CPA1 Combustion Product Analysis;
• WR1 Water Regulations;
• UVHSS Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems.

New Regulations:

As of the 1st February 2010 it has become compulsory for anyone undertaking either CEN1 or HTR1 to be competent in the use of flue gas analysers (CPA1). Existing CEN1 and HTR1 holders will have to undertake CPA1 assessment by 1st April 2012.
