A-Levels have long been seen as the gold standard qualifications for UK students wishing to progress to university. We teach A-Levels to around 1500 students every year and had a 99.5% pass rate in 2015.
A-Levels are the traditional entry examinations which enable English students to access Higher Education. York College teaches A-Levels to 1500 local students per year and in recent years has achieved the best results of any General Further Education College in the UK.
Our International A-Level Programme has been developed for overseas students wishing to take part in this success story. International students on this course will study alongside local students and complete A-Level qualifications, usually in three subjects.
The course is ideal for academically able students who are at least 16 years of age and ready to face the challenge of living and studying overseas. Note that this course can be studied for either one or two years. However, university entry can only be achieved after two years.
