Directions to York College
Train
York has direct links with all parts of the country. The station is two miles from the College but there is a direct 'Park and Ride' bus every 8 minutes.
Cycles and Motor Bikes
We have parking for motor bikes and cycles. Spaces for mopeds and motorcycles are clearly marked on both levels of the car park. There are cycle racks near the College nursery and covered cycle storeage in the rear car park. There are plenty of new 'safe cycle' lanes on main routes to the College.
Parking
Parking is by Pay and Display and tickets cost 50p per day. There are ticket machines on both levels of the car park. The College has limited parking space and courteous, safe driving is expected at all times. Vehicles causing an obstruction will be clamped and a fee charged for their release. This car park can get full early in the morning. Please do not park in local residential avenues such as Chessingham Gardens. Staff and students may obtain an annual permit from the estates office on the first floor. Students are not eligible for a car parking pass until they have held a full licence for at least nine months.
