Access to HE Diploma at York College

Then Access to HE Diploma could be the course you are looking for.
York College has over 120 Access to HE Diploma students, in 2011-12 who are studying on eight different pathways covering a range of vocational areas from Healthcare and Nursing, to Science and Humanities. A new pathway in Creative Media starts in September 2012. These courses are all studied for around 15 hours a week over 32 weeks and involve a range of activities relevant to the pathway being studied.
The College's learning facilities are among the finest in the region. Facilities include workshops, art studios, a spa centre and other services not available to other providers of Access to HE courses in the local area. Being a student provides you with access to our library and the opportunity to get a student card which will allow discounts from a wide range of outlets.
We have great pass rates and achievements: In 2011 81 per cent of our Access to HE students achieved their Diploma compared with 65 per cent nationally, with 69 per centproceeding onto Higher Education. This level of achievement places York College n the top 10 per cent of Colleges for Access provision. In addition, the we have a track record of working with outstanding adult learners. In fact one of our students was awarded the ‘Adult Student of the Year’ award during Adult Learner’s Week in 2011.
