which
means

we are
committed
to employing

people
and are
positive

their

It also
demonstrates
that
we value
the contribution

staff

they

Excellence Awards
York College
is validated
to run courses
by 48 different
awarding bodies
and five universities.
It has been very
successful in
achieving awards
for the excellence
of its provision.
These include:
Accord
Mentoring Scheme
York
College managers
and professionals
joined with other
employees from
a variety of
public sector
and publicly
funded organisations
in North Yorkshire
when they were
highly commended
for an innovative
mentoring scheme
at the prestigious
National Training
Awards 2007 held
in Leeds.
The Yorkshire
Accord Mentoring
Scheme has benefited
84 people in
training and
development of
mentoring skills,
networking and
broadening understanding
of other organisations
and ways of working.
The mentees taking
part in the scheme
have benefited
from increased
confidence and
clarity.
